Day to day functioning at Oktana would be difficult if it was not for this team. Being extremely organized and detail-oriented, Oktana’s operations oversees finance, engagement management and procurement for our company. Our operations team is highly important to our success because they are the ones that initially drive our growth and help our brand reach exceeding capacities.

OPERATIONS SUPPORT
Oktana is seeking part-time support for our Operations function in the LES. This position will be responsible for a wide-range of duties that will vary from errand and bank-running, accounts receivables, accounts payables, invoicing, purchasing, international shipping and drafting legal documents. In addition, the role includes resolving issues associated with project accounting and client requests, as well as creating, implementing and executing procedures associated with standard accounting. 

 

Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining current and accurate ledger of accounts receivable and accounts payable company-wide
  • Invoicing and reconciling bank deposits of clients and record keeping
  • Managing and purchasing office supplies and inventory company-wide
  • Coordinating the shipment of supplies and inventory to our partner offices
  • Managing recruiting posts, shortlist candidates and schedule interviews
  • Communicating with clients, client suppliers, vendors, and banking contacts
  • Organizing and coordinating operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity and efficiency
  • Coordinating proposals and paperwork related to new project work
  • Maintaining relationships with clients/partners/vendors/suppliers
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, local, and state legal regulations and guidelines
Required skills:
  • Bookkeeping or accounting experience, including accounts payable, accounts receivable
  • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
  • Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing
  • Have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Degree in Accounting or Certified Bookkeeper designation preferred
  • Experience with Google Apps is a must
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
